INSPIRATION
My greatest source of inspiration, it may seem strange, It's a little travel diary, written many years ago by Luigi Vittorio Bertarelli.
Bertarelli just founded the TCI, the Italian Touring Club, when he decides to leave with his bicycle from Eboli to Calabria. He traveled 300 miles in just five days at the end of the 19th Century with an ambitious goal: to make Calabria known to Italians. At that time, in fact, Calabria was an unexplored place of which little was known: rumors telling it was a dangerous, wild region populated by ruthless brigands.
Bertarelli thanks to this enterprise is considered the first true modern promoter of tourism in Calabria, telling about it as a green, lush region with infinite beauties.
Like him me too, even if I havent his courage and pioneering vision, I would like to continue to make my land known, wich is still unexplored beautiful and wild.
